About

This website has been built by Our Food Trust, as the start of a project to make the case for comprehensive action on food security. Our Food Trust is a registered charity (1206110).

The first step was to set out clearly the recommendations of Professor Tim Lang, which we have done on this website.

Next, we are implementing a six-part “Food Security Mission” in Powys in Wales, including a rural-urban partnership with Birmingham.

We will use this as a launchpad for communicating with other regions and countries, focusing in particular on the need for rural and urban regions to collaborate on food security.
